Just getting Started

Hi, my name is Krista and I have Ameraucanas and Marans. I am new to this kind of chicken thing. I mean before we had a variety of Ko Shamo and Thai that were free range and bred and lived as they wanted. Now I am specializing in Ameraucanas and Marans and I need help to be a good breeder.

My husband and I ran a Palm Tree business for several years and we have retired from that. Now we want to relax and raise chickens.

We also raised 5 children and have 9 grand children. The other "kids" are 2 dogs, Koi and of course all the chickens!

I look forward to getting lots of great advice from all of you!

No but I will. I came here looking for a basic genetic chart for Ameraucanas and it is impossible to just find one in a thread.
