I hatched a lone gosling last year. He became much more bonded to people than any duck I have ever raised. Just wait until he comes screaming after you, legs flailing wildly, neck stretched way out, wings flapping. Better than a dog.

Maybe Chinese sure is cute. hows it doing? maybe give it some save a chick or poultry nutri drench once it starts to drink, and brewers yeast on it's feed once it's starts eating.

He will, maybe even for another couple of days. It's a lot of work getting that big goose butt out of the shell.

It has to be a white chinese. They are the only white goose to hatch solid yellow.

Atleast it is stretching and reactive. You touch it's foot and it will bring it back underneath it
