Just got 3 new baby chicks

To add to my flock of 7 pulleys. I'm in NJ, do you think the temps are safe enough to put the brooder in the coop?

So it was 97 today (been 90-95 steadily) and 77 (75-80 regularly) at night.

I put a huddle box in their brooder (cut out a large shoebox and lined it with a towel.)

Thinking they should be fine but always worried. Lol

How old are they? Can you run electricity out to the coop? Daytime won't be an issue but nights are on the cool side if they're under 2-3 weeks.

I think they will probably be fine, though I am not an expert on raising chicks.

Yes, maybe the nights are a bit cool for very young chicks.

Had them in the garage last night by themselves with no heat source, just a huddle box. Worked like a charm!! Checked on them too many times I'd like to admit, I got no sleep, but they all did wonderfully!
