Just got a muscovy duck about 6 to 9 mouths old. She hasn't laid any eggs.

Well that can do it too. Especially if she was laying at her old home. Usually 2-4 weeks gives them time to get settled in to a new place. Oh and mine are experts at hiding their eggs in the shavings too so egg hunts are an everyday occurrence here once they start.

That being said, yes they just need some time to settle. Muscovy is a very gentle breed. And by gentle I mean....imo they need love. It's almost like they know exactly what's going on, who they like, who they dont like. They are children. Once they have adjusted and say "hey, this is our home now" lol they will wait. Just my opinion. Please dont go googling my answer to see if I'm wrong. I probably am hahaha. This is just how mine reacted a few months ago when I first got them.
