just got baby chicks

ok i just got my chicks do i give them food and just let them eat as mush as they want if thats not how you do it then plz help me and they are layers

Give em free access to food, water, a heat lamp to keep em warm and dry shavings to sleep in and you get happy little cheepin, eatin, sleepin, poopin, peepin machines.

oh well i was at a tractor supply place and Shaw the best chick ever so i bought it and took it home thinking it will be OK alone until the other chicks arrive
