Just got External PIP YAY [Need Urgent Advice]

Should i relax or should i worry that chick has had a late death

its day 20 and i set eggs in evening so that would have started as day zero making hatch saturday rathr than today

im in lockdown temp and humidity stable

i decided to see if i got an internal pip but nothing

the egg is completely dark inside upon candling
the aircell clearly visable and light veining around the aircell/egg line but defo no beak inside aircell

i drew the egg to show what it looks like

hope some one can advise

Do NOT OPEN that incubator again!

DON'T expect anything until dat 21... Once they pip, it can be another 6 hours before they hatch.
Day 20 pipping means temps are slightly high.
Day 21 pipping means temps are PERFECT.
Day 22 pipping means temps are slightly low.

OPENING the incubator during lockdown means chicks stuck in the egg! PLEASE, Don't open the incubator again until One day --- 24 hours after the chicks start hatching....

i understand

i got a bit paranoid but i did it very carefully

so much so that i only lost 5% RH and that came back pretty fast

throughout the incubation my temp has been spot on at UK 37.5C so im guessing i will see pip in the morning

thanks guys and again im not usually paranoid and would leave well alone so my appologies for prematurly opening the bator

That's pretty cool.... I never thought about actually marking the air sac size on the egg.... That way you can monitor the change...

yeah i got the idea from celtic and pete [gosling hatchers]

it pretty good indication on whats going on

i did and know i shouldnt have candled yesterday as mentioned and aircell enlarged more but didn't mark it so where the pip is made is actually just above aircell as i remeber where the aircell was

i have a live feed if anyoen is interested in watching
