Ive got chicks hatching since this morning. Just got home from work and the humidity is 99! The two that hatched this morning are still wet and 4 more hatched while I was gone. The temp is steady at 100 but is that humidity gonna be a problem? Should I do anything????

I have an LG. There was only one hole plugged and I unplugged it. VENT? Not sure where the vent is on a LG?

When that happened to me I just took the lid off and fanned it for a moment to get the humidity out and then put the top right back on and everything was fine. Yes, some people are having a heart attack right now, I hope whomever is near them knows cpr.

lmao!!! Thanks for that! Ok now back to the seriousness at hand....

Ok I did it!

Now a new concern....you know those coils at the top if the bator? I used the egg carton method to hatch and these babies are crawling all over the cartons and the eggs and sometimes touching that heat coil!

So right now the humidity is still 99 and the temp is down to 99. Oh the drama....

You've got so much extra humidity you could pull them out and put them in the brooder without hurting anything. If it goes any higher it's going to rain in there.
