I am so excited about my chickens! We built them a chicken tractor Tuesday and so far they seem pretty happy. I only have 3... a golden laced wyandotte, a buff Cochin, and barred rock rooster . We live in east Texas and these are my first chickens. We even got an egg the size of a marble from one of the hens. We decided to have chickens to provide eggs and compost for the garden. I was pleasantly surprised at their entertainment value. I found NYC on a Google search. I have checked out other sites, but this seems the most informative.
