Just got our first egg!

So I had our Copper Maran pegged as being our first hen to lay by the way she was behaving. But I was wrong. Our Rhode Island Red laid her first egg this morning which is the first egg we have ever had laid at our house. She is 4.5 months old and it is the most perfect little egg. I am beyond stoked!
Also, she pushed all of the hay out of the box. Is that normal? The lighter egg is our ceramic egg.

Her pushing the hay is just her making her nest perfect. Congrats. My first hen to lay was my ISA brown honey
