Just got started...

I just got started this year. I've been dying to have chickens for the past 3 years or so. My wife and I are trying to be more self sufficient and this is another step on the journey. I've been reading the posts for probably the last year or so to familiarize myself with different breeds and overall maintenance. We started this spring with 6 RIRs that are now 3 months along and in the coop that I built. I also have 4 Light Brahmas and 4 BRs. One of the BRs turned out to be a rooster, or so I think.


Here is the coop and run I just finished up.


A couple of my RIR enjoying some watermelon.


Here is Deano my BR rooster, I think he is a rooster. Not 100%.

I enjoy this forum and look forward to learning a lot more.
