I need some sympathy! We don't have our own chickens (yet!) and our three suppliers only have enough eggs for family use now! We just used the last of the farm eggs last night. I even BOUGHT eggs for baking all the Christmas goodies. It was strange to have to pick up eggs in the store! I can't wait until spring when our suppliers will have eggs again!
To give a quick explanation: We have one elderly couple that generally supplies us with our eggs, but then we have two other couples that raise chickens that we can get eggs from. We go to them if the elderly couple can't get us eggs for whatever reason. The elderly couple really enjoy their chickens and sharing their eggs, that's why we generally get ours from them.
