Just hatched chick with big bubble on neck

hey i just hatched a chick with what seems like a soft air or fluid filled bubble on the neck. What is it? and what do i do?

Thats certainly strange.
I'd just watch the chick and see if it goes away, and also if the chick can continue on as normal. Afterall.. It it's not hurting him, whats the problem?
However if it becomes a problem that is a different situation.
I'm not really sure what you could do... maybe lance it? With sterile things ofcourse.

Had one hatch like that, too. We used a sterilized needle and poked a hole in it to let the air out after a day or two. Not sure what causes that, either.
