Have you ever had a moment where you cannot pass something up? Our family just adopted this girl yesterday and will be picking her up tomorrow! We were not looking for a dog, but saw her at an event at our lake, and were instantly drawn to her. Filled out the adoption contract 11pm Friday night, and by 9am Saturday were approved. We visited their tent again on Saturday and took her out for a bit. She loved the water, fetches, and does great on a boat. She is not leashed trained, but picked up quickly that she would not get anywhere if she pulled. She seems like an amazing dog already.

I would like to introduce you to Arya "Ari" for short, a 3yr old lab mix. She is a cuddlebug already, and just wants to curl up and tuck her head on your lap.

Thank you. It is crazy how good she is! Her papers say she was picked up running at large in South Carolina. By the looks of her, she has had several litters of puppies. She is completely housebroken, picked up how to walk on a leash, knows "No" and "Drop it" sits very respectfully to be petted, and does fine in a crate. She does not bark either, unless she is trying to play, and has been great with cats. The only thing we have to work on is her recall, jumping on the couch, and trying to bolt out the front door. Luckily we have a mudroom (2 doors) so she has not gotten out yet.

Here is a picture of her only a few hours after we brought her home, she is the one in the middle:

Thank you. Here is a "family portrait" from today. Chunk (lab in the back) is the only purebred. Both Emma and Ari were adopted and are mutts of some type.
