So, we had two 3.5 week old chicks...one was much bigger (the black chick in the picture is actually 3.5 weeks in the pic...tiny!)...so I took the bigger one out. The bigger one was peeping from being lonesome so I found it a new home today with a hen sitting on 2 week old chicks.
Just seemed the right thing to do. So, our runty black silkie, in pic, is actually sitting on the new baby "mothering" her.
It's so adorable!
