I was just about to turn in for the night. We are now 18 minutes into day 21 for most of the eggs and day 20 for some of them....and guess what? We have a pip!
It is in Del #3...one of SpeckledHen's eggs...
Yay Cyn!!!! One of your grandchicks is eager to greet the world. It's an early pip, just a bit of shell pushed out so I'm not expecting much before early morning but now the fun starts!!!
What a surprise to come home to, that and another two baby goats! Yup, that's right two MORE baby goats...these two are white...my daughter has tried to name them Patch and Boots in my absence, but I'll have to see them before I approve the names, these are my goats. Darn it if they aren't both boys.
Now...how am I supposed to sleep? My DH and I have driven across the whole state in all that sleet and snow????
Well, I've since come down with a bug...so I didn't have a chance to hover. However, the chicks are doing their best to comply. No progress....the pip has progress from the teeniest little pip to a bigger pip and that is all I have to report. Since I didn't expect anything to happen until around noontime today (I put them in around noon time)
