Yup! Now all we need is Good Babies to get here! MIL and I were just trying to make his life easier...but you know husbands.... LOL Don't take away their projects!

I've got pips that have been pips forever it seems but I know they get tired after pipping. But I want them here now!!!

I have another Fern Baby Pipping! Yay Fern Baby!!!!!! Should be out in a half an hour or less!!!!

Fern Baby is OUT!!! And a few new pips. No other zips that I can see, but this Fern baby just zipped so fast that I didn't see her zipping until she was 3/4 of the way done! Boy once they decide to get down to business they are quick! So that is 6 hatched so far and a bunch of pips to go. Several of the eggs have been knocked on their sides by now so I have no idea if they are pipped on the side or not.

Hi Laney. Just checking in. Hope all is going well with your hatch!

Ok as of now we have 15 out.... one died either from blood loss of being trampled. Not sure. It still had the umbilicle cord attached and full of blood. It never dried out because the other chicks would not get off of it. It was one of those that was not meant to make it. It was a Delaware btw, not sure whose. I'll be able to tell once I can get to the shells. 10 are in the brooder now. We have at least one more pip. Will wait and see what happens with others.

A Gracie chick just popped out. From no pip visible (probably was on the bottom as the egg was laying sideways) to zip in zero flat. It's head is a little uh...squished and eyes are a tiny bulgy but it's very active and looks good.

The head is coming back to normal shape more and more, but we have lovingly named her/him Pinhead anyway.

That's funny, Laney- way cute! And lots of pinheads in this world have made it and risen to great prominence- I can think of LOTS of politicians! Whoops- who said that?

Anyway, keep 'wm coming- I can't wait to see pics!
