I bought some of these 3 weeks ago and I hear peeping in the bator right now as I type with some internal pips!!! They are due to hatch sometime tomorrow. Great shipping and awesome fertility. I believe there were 7 eggs shipped and 5 eggs went into lock down. These eggs traveled from Maryland to sunny hot FL and I am very pleased!!!! I'm not counting my chicks before they hatch but I hope they come out and play soon!!!!!

THe two sweetgrass hens are still laying and 5 of the bourbons are laying-- this is a hen's choice mix. THese will not be available in the fall-- last year they quit mid AUgust.

You must have got the batch before me. Packing and everything looked great, extra egg and sent right out. Unfortunately 2 scrambled, 2 clears, 2 bloodrings and the one that started developing at all quit it looked like maybe day 5. Glad your batch is going better!

I want these but I am so afraid to run the incubator this time of year because of the heat and storms. Usually once a summer we go at least 2 days without power and I have no back-up. Do I want to fire the Sportsman back up and take a chance...?

Obviously I need Incubators Anonymous, but o say yes to you getting these eggs. She said they might not be laying in the fall. Just call me . . . (sigh) the Enabler!!!!!

Get a battery backup.
