Just In Time Hatching Egg AUCTION and BIN Thread

I take a small break mid summer for cleaning plus about a week or so near christmas... otherwise they keep going year round...

Quote: then I must not be a 'people'... hm. wonder what classification I am
uhm...methinks you're just insane like me...

they turn off? mine has been running nonstop since we.built it Feb 2012. I have been hatching nonstop since my first incubator. I do slow down in the fall. but not looking that way now. I have two big orders for chicks.....one for almost 200 chicks (Marans olive eggers and SBEL) and the other one is for 100 barred rocks for meat birds.
mine doesn't turn off unless the power goes out.. or I unplug it... we never designed it with an "off switch"...

ROFL no, i'm normal... it's those people who turn off 'bators that don't have off switches that are nuts.

If anyone would like to raise meat birds this late in the season i can sell a dozen eggs for $35.00. That includes shipping. I double box and wrap each egg. I am NPIP.
They are hens (cornish X bred to rock) bred to rooster (Orpington). The birds are about 5-6 lbs at 16-18 weeks. My hens are all around 8lbs. They have nice breast meat and the orpington strain adds nice leg meat. Good free rangers and very vigorous chicks. The hens lay a nice size egg and they have no reproductive problems all the way to 4-5 years old. My oldest layer is 6. She is getting fat now and it might be time to butcher her out soon. They are not as broody as my other birds, but, they usually raise at least one clutch a year. If you are interested just drop me a line. I can do a few dozen a week. The chicks come in buff, white, blue and black too on occasion. The male is a blue english orp and throws all kinds of colors in my cornish/rock crosses.
