WHOA, need to stop you before someone gets this expecting more than what is there.

There is no such thing as a smooth "frizzle carrier". The frizzle gene is either there and the chicken is frizzle feathered, or it's not there at all, and the chicken is smooth. I forgot the word that describes a gene that ALWAYS has a visual effect IF it is inherited. But that's the case here. There is no way a smooth feathered chicken can "carry" the frizzle gene. It's not a recessive trait at all, that only shows up after breeding several generations. It's a dominant trait that will always show up IF the gene was inherited. And if it wasn't inherited at all, they can't pass it on.

thank you I wondered how the gene worked. I dont have any frizzles but may someday. I kept hearing if you bred frizzle to frizzle you got horrible feathers. so do you bred frizzle to non frizzle to get the cute little guys.

BIN ISABELLE SPLIT MARANS

$45 for 12+ eggs and I have 2 doz available..... second doz for $30. Shipping is $15-18 depending on location and $20 if you get both doz! 25% Isabelle chicks/50% Splits/ 25% Just Reg Coppers.... no Lav gene in those. Breed these back to good coppers and you will get some improvement in your isabelles.

I can ship tomorrow! After the Easter hatch I will not offer these as much. I am going to make some pen changes ASAP.... get them while you can! I have not shipped many of these but I just had a report of 100% hatch after 2 clear eggs. LOVE those kinds of hatches.

For those that are participating in the 5th Annual Easter Hatch-a-long... I will offer the following eggs for shipment on March 24th.
Payment is via PP only and expected to be paid on Sat. March 22nd for shipping on Mon. March 24th.
In the event that the breed of your choice is not available, we will do our best to accommodate you ..but hens choice will be substituted. The breeds being offered are laying well and fertility has been confirmed. But we all know about counting our chickens or eggs before they hatch or are laid.

Eggs are carefully packaged and mailed via USPS Priority Mail. Each egg is individually bubble wrapped so they have the best possible chance for arrival to your door unbroken. We guarantee fresh, fertile eggs, but cannot be responsible for hatch rate due to shipping or incubation variables.
