Just In Time Hatching Egg AUCTION and BIN Thread

Just wanted to post that I ordered the 6 bresse eggs from KYtinpusher. The post office gave them a good shaking up but I still got three beautiful babies from them- the air cells were so bad but those are some strong birds and three of them managed to hatch. Will buy again in March if she has them available.
Congratulations! Where are the pictures?

I have 2 auctions. They are for 6 eggs"Hens Choice". Shipping is $13.00 for 6 eggs and $15 for 12.00 for combined shipping for if somebody wins both auctions. Auctions end at noon sunday (tomorrow) central time. Eggs will ship Monday. Tuesday at the latest but I'm shooting for Monday. Any questions please ask.

The hens laying are Porcelain with a porcelain roo, splash with a splash roo, and mixed color sizzle hens with a porcelain roo. These are 3 separate pens.I was out of town and DH started collecting for me. He don't know my codes so some won't have any or they will be wrong. I will also add any extras I get to each auction.

Auction #1 Hens choice 6 eggs. Bidding starts at $10.00

Auction #2 Hens choice 6 eggs Bidding starts at $10.00

The splash pen has a roo that is from Bobbi Porto stock and the hens are my line. I've shown the roo and one hen when she was a pullet. The roo won 1st in BV twice and 2nd in BV once. The hen won 1st in BV.

The porcelain pen has a roo that is from Bobbi Porto stock and the hen is from my line. The roo has been shown and won 1st in BV. I haven't shown the hen. The offspring have turned out to be blue cream. Very beautiful.

Not a good pic of the hen. Below are a few of their chicks.

The mixed sizzle pen has a porcelain roo that is the son of the porcelain roo above. The hens are 2 frizzled partridge silkie hens, one has been shown and won 1st in BV, 2 white sizzle hens and one has been shown and she won 2nd in BV, a black sizzle hen and she has been shown twice and won 1st and 2nd in BV. I don't know who is laying in this pen.

This is the 2nd white sizzle hen. She was a pullet here. I don't have a pic of her now but she is identical to her mother in the first pic. Just a tad shorter. Below is the porcelain roo.

I made it home.

I realize that last auction was confusing. I have no idea why I didn't do the auction 1 and auction 2 thing. So I"m editing this one to be that way. Sorry for the confusion.

up for auction are 6 silkie eggs "Hens Choice". The hens laying are Porcelain with a porcelain roo, splash with a splash roo, and mixed color sizzle hens with a porcelain roo. These are 3 separate pens. I'm out of town and DH will be collecting eggs so the codes won't be right. I'll ship the eggs on monday and tuesday. I expect to have enough eggs for 4 sets of 6 eggs.

Bidding starts at $10.00 and shipping is $13.00 for 6 and $15 for 12 eggs, $17 for 18 eggs and $19 for 24 eggs. This auction is mainly for those participating in the New Years Hatch A Long. The bid is for 6 eggs. If you want 12 eggs your bid will be X2 and for 18 eggs it will be X3 and for 24 it will be X4. Specify how many you are bidding for. I will hold auctions till all the eggs are spoken for. Any extra eggs I will add to the winning bidders shipment. Any questions feel free to ask.

I love my smooth sizzle from you!

My Bid:

$10.00 for 6 eggs x 2 (So $20 for a dozen plus shipping)

What happens now though if someone bids $12 on 6. Do they get the 3rd set for that price or? Do I need to come back and bid every time someone bids on them or only after two more people bid on the other 2 sets and some new then bids? LOL

I would be interested to hear how that works too.... Seems to me she expects to have 4 sets of six so 2 are bid at $10 so I would think you could bid $10 on the other 2 sets??????? but I don't understand either. Usually I would see #1 and #2 and #3 and #4 auction of 6 eggs. You would then bid on each auction. Like

I bid $x.xx on offer #1 and #3

Then someone could come in and bid

$xx.xx on offer #2 and #3 and you would be outbid on #3

There are bids for 12 and 6. Highest bidder wins. Ill post the other 6 after 11:00. Im on a train headed home so please bear with me

I am the one bidding on the 12 right? Still the highest bidder for them? (I don't think anyone understands my love for the smooth sizzle I got from you! LOL)
