The mini is spoiled too but I'm not getting him ready.
He has two alarms. A real clock and on his phone.
They wake me up across the house.
He's learned to get up before I make it to his room to tell him to turn them off.




This just started this school year. It's working.

I used a wet rag on the face as my threat. I only needed to use it once on DS. DD was a much slower learner ...

One day I banged on a pot in his room.
I'm pretty sure he woke up thinking I was real life nuts.
We both peed though.

My mom wakes me up by yanking open the blinds, telling me to go do something (luke feeding the dogs, unloading the dishwasher etc.), playing horrible music on my Alexa, and telling me not to talk back even though I'm half asleep and not saying anything

More than once the Company Commanders in Boot camp woke us up at like 3:30-4:30 AM by throwing two galvanized trash cans w/lids into the middle of the wing and flashed the lights and Yelling "On the line now, this is not a drill."

Yeah, nuts....

Then once near the end of boot camp after we had won some award earlier in the week, we were told they would let us sleep in on Saturday morning.....
Yeahhh, nope. Not quite.
One of them quietly snuck in and tossed one of those trash cans down the wing, turned on the lights and said, "Surprise..... (Then stood there a few seconds in silence.... then said) Okay, y'all can go back to sleep, ya earned it." Laughed and then walked out. It was around 6AM -IIRC- and the dawn was breaking through the trees...
