Hi all. I'm Khrysten. New here, obviously. New to chickens too...mostly. Have 8 that turned 8 weeks yesterday (2 Barred Rock, 1 Rhode Island Red, 2 Buff Orpingtons & 3 Ameraucana) & 15 5.5 week old Bantams (4 White Crested Black Polish, 2 Mottled Cochins, 4 Frizzle Cochins & 3 Mille Fleur Bearded d'Uccles). So far it's been all good. Finishing up the chicken coop (referred to around here as The Taj Ma-Chicken) & getting close to moving the big chicks outside soon...which is good cuz right now my dining room is all chicken madness!
