Hi from Nova Scotia. Here to learn about raising chickens. Just set up a new coop and got 6 birds 2 days ago. So far very entertaining.

Hi Sammy....Born in UK myself and came to Canada when three. My y girls are doing well and I’m getting on average, 6 eggs daily. Starting to give eggs away to the neighbours. When I make my chicken cluck sound they have learned to come running looking for treats. Feel like the mother hen for sure.They love grapes and watermelon. No issues except they are pooping by the front door on the concrete porch. Guess you take the good with the bad. Not so bad though since no one is visiting these days due to Covid. Who needs people when you have chickens?

Yay! So glad you enjoy them! I promise the addiction is going to get a whole lot worse ad you will end up will more chickens then you thought you would Welcome to BYC!
