Absolutely we told our neighbor and gave her some of the eggs. She was very proud of her girl!
awesome! i hope you have a plan to keep her safe from predators- including neighborhood cats and dogs. especially at night- and even more especially after they hatch 🐣 . they needs a secure coop that she can’t escape from.

oh wait i just read the eggs are not fertile lol my bad so she’s goes home at night to her coop then i guess 🤪

I'm very new to chickens so please excuse this very amateur question. I assumed that since there is no rooster anywhere, the eggs will not produce chicks? You are right, we do need to provide her a safe place. We have a rather large mobile chicken coop that's not being used, at our farm that my husband will bring to our home. It just seemed rather drastic with only one chicken. But this productive girl need protection and pronto!

Have you thought about buying her some (pullet) chicks to adopt?
