Hello to everyone, I too just recently joined BYC. I am sorry for your loss also. I have never raised any chickens before. But when I was growing up on a farm in NW Ohio, we would raise 3500 turkeys at a time. I am just putting the finishing touches on my coup. I was hoping to have 48 RIR eggs in my incubator by now, but no body has that many fertile eggs until December 5th. Hope to get better acquainted with you all soon.

Hello, just joined. I am new to back yard chickens. We started with 6 babies in March. Are down to two hens. Bought 6 more babies from a big chicken farm and are downtown two of those . So 2 almost 8 month old girls and 2 probably 3 month old girls. Loving our chickens but it has been a struggle. Can't wait to learn a bunch:)
