Just lost a baby. so sad.

Our friend brought us a chick to foster for her yesterday and the minute I saw it I knew it was too small. She seemed ok yesterday but this morning she couldn't stand up and wouldn't open her eyes. She just passed away and I'm so sad. I barely even knew her but it's just so awful.

i can't stand it.

I know how you feel, I lost 2 black silkie babies before, but that's cause they are so soo fragile, but we didn't even hold them. But sorry that happened

I hate losing chicks.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that, I know how you feel though, I lost my first duckling 2 days ago and cried for two days, big hugs xxxxx

Thank you. I knew she was too small but she seemed ok yesterday so I thought she would make it. She was about two 3rds the size of her sister.
