Absolutely not! That's what we are all here for to help and support one another! I have lost baby chicks before, but never one of my adults. It was horrible, I am dreading the day I do loose an older one trust me! Lots of hugs.Thank you, again. Don't mean to be just a downer.
Wow. Well I'm hoping mine are that way! You did a great job with them.This one lived a good long life. I had two others die at 6 and 8. If you take care of them and practice good biosecurity, you should have them for at least that long. They were all hatchery chicks, too. Those from a breeder are supposed to live longer.
