Kay-so I have to take my roos to be processed this weekend since I can't have them and the one is SO nasty. These are the remaining chicks from my July hatching. That makes them 5 months old and I am assuming they are girls but want to be sure, also any breed ideas. I know they are "barnyard blends" but I am curious. The black one is a bantam.

The last four pics are two different birds. They are nearly identical except that the last two pics(Slo-fro) has an all white noggin

Why??????Poor little guys!!!!

Cause all OPs other roosters are going to be processed. I know it's a sad fact for folks here but many of us eat our extra males. No one is saying you have to eat yours, but I sure get tired of getting negative responses for it. Until you're set up to take all the unwanted roosters in the world and keep them for the rest of their natural lives, please quit being negative to those of us who chose to manage our birds this way.

The black one is a hen, but the other two are definitely roosters. I'm not familiar with bantams, but the two roosters both look like Easter Egger crosses.
