Hello,

Back in March my wife and I got some more chicks to add to our flock. They were sold to us as California Tans from Hoover's Hatchery purchased at Rural King. Only one is actually tan the others are white.

Not sure if they're actually California Tan's. Look like possible White Leghorns or California White's maybe?

See pictures below and let me know what you think. They turned 4 months old on July 18th.

I think they're all California Tans (White Leghorn/Production Red cross). Since they are a hatchery hybrid, they won't all look the same. California Whites and California Tans are both Leghorn crosses, so they will look similar, but I think it would be low odds for any of the pure white ones to be Leghorns if they were bought as California Tans.

ETA: Once they are laying, CA Whites should lay white eggs, CA Tans should lay brown eggs.
