We bought this chick on June 20 from farm and fleet which gets their chicks from hoovers. It was sold as a red star. I know red stars can vary and on hoovers website they look different than other Hatchery red stars. They are more red and black then red and white. Hoovers says theirs is a mix between a rir and a Delaware, so I imagine that's where they mimic the black patches on the Delaware. But most Google searches don't look like this. Thoughts?

Looks like a production red, which is a catch all term for 'hybrid red hen with no particular parentage, meant solely for eggs"
