We moved here last July from Washington, Mo which is about 60 miles west of St. Louis. I worked at the Ford Assembly Plant. When it closed I was offered a job at the Kansas City Plant. We were able to get a great place here just outside of Gallatin. We've got 14 acres, 1898 Faux-Victorian farmhouse and a pole barn. I bought a hog farrowing house from the previous owner and I've redone it into our chicken house. Our first chicks are just four weeks old so their still in the house with us.
