Just picked up my chickens today!

Yes, picked them up today, drove an hour and a half to get them.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Six.

(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orpington.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Fresh eggs, watching the chickens.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Drums, computers, sailing.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm retired, we have two dogs, three cats, and now six chickens.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I think I found it through a Google search when I was building the coop and run. I spent four months building the coop/run.
