I saw an old Craigslist post for octagon 20 and I bought it an hour ago. I just plugged the old girl in and she's humming along. Im going to let it run for a bit. So farr so good. I just need to oil the fan for now. I told my husband this is my Anniversary gift. Good deal! What a little champ!

I put six eggs in, of different sizes. Put two silkie eggs in small dixie cups to give them more support. Our power just went out. Going to keep researching this old model. Putting some filled plastic water bottles in to keep eggs company.

I paid $75. Nothing digital here. Couldnt find manual on it either. But i really dont need one. Temp adjustment is on top with tiny screw, easy. This older octagon 20 has the auto turn cradle I really needed. Im not home most days to give eggs attention. I have a hatcher that just sits there. The fan that is a bit louder than I would like. Dropped oil on fan pin which helped. Unit is in our bedroom because its the warmest room in house. The handle area on top where fan motor is located gets a bit warmer than I am comfortable with. But, if this old thing continues to work like it has been I'll be very happy. These eggs should hatch the 3rd week of Feb.

It sounds like you have figured it out, but if you would still like a manual try this page. It has a bunch of manuals for discontinued Octagon 20s listed at the bottom. Good Luck! Happy hatching and CraigsListing. That was a GREAT deal!
