...and it looks pretty cool. Shoots water about eight
foot high, probably about a ten foot wide pattern.

And it makes an awesome sound we can hear from
the patio.

Now, I still don't like getting real wet and it will no doubt
be a pain when swimming. But it quick-connects out.

The ideal, beyond the looks and sound, is that it will keep
the water circulating more and should require less maintiance.

We'll see.

Meanwhile, it looks cool.

Spook...Back on dry land

thank you for this post. You reminded me to go out and adjust the timer on the pool, and turn off the hose tonight. Thank you!! I'd also love to see pics of your fountain.

Spook isn't smart enough to post pictures.

As to the connections? It's a ready-made kit bought
from the local pool store for $34.99.

Eight foot, and it's on the low setting. Has two more
higher setting with a twist of the hose. No ideal to how
high it can go.

If the two setting aren't enough, it includes a box of five
inserts to increase the pressure.

How high is enough?

Depends on how hard the wind blows. If the wind is blowing so hard that the water from the fountain is coming down on the other side of the house, that might be too high.
