I just put my eggs in the bator, got the temp/humidity to stay at a safe spot so I decided to put them in. I'm not sure if the eggs will hatch, I got a dozen from someone who said they were left out in the coop during some really cold nights (probably in the 20s or so) and I took one from my D'Uccle that I just bought on Saturday to see if it'll hatch (my not even be fertilized). I figured these will be a good test run, lol.

You are right is is always to start out with eggs that are not terribly important. I gives you a chance to see how the temps and humidity change and how often to add water. Good luck

Thank you. I really would like these eggs to hatch though. I only want 3 out of the whole batch for me, lol. If they hatch and I've got more than I want I've got a BYC member that's going to trade me some of the Frizzle/Cochin babies for some Buff Silkie babies.
