Just received dirty icky small eggs from ebay - can an experienced seller give me your opinion?

Hi folks,

Here is an update on my nasty little egg experience.

I sent a communication through ebay, described the condition of the eggs and my concerns. I got no response. Not suprising, I had tried to contact him before I got the eggs since they were not shipped on time. Took three emails to get a response.

So I left "neutral" feedback and wrote: Great packing-very dirty eggs-some very small eggs-communication not good :-(

I think that's fair, and hopefully will warn buyers. I now see another buyer posted basically the same thing. Really dirty substandard eggs.

I ended up washing the more normal sized eggs, if I remember correctly I cleaned six up, three started to develop. One hatched! It's sleeping in the feeder right now.

I didn't ask for my money back. For some reason these eggs did not attract many bids and I thought it was more work than it was worth to ask for my money back. I do wonder if I got treated badly because my winning bid was not very high. This seems so unfair if it is true. I had no control over the winning bid. If they wanted more money they should have increased the start price.

So thank you all for letting me know that these truly were unacceptable eggs. It's also good to know I can leave negative feedback if necessary although I certainly don't plan on it.
well they should have treated you better low bid or not it's common sellsman ship
