OMG thanks for reminding me! I saw a BUzzard on the way home, took 3 girls last year!! If it comes for these lot i will drop kick it. And thanks, they are great!

Is it normal for a hen to fight your finger? Edwina came running up and i always put my hand out to her because she lies to peck it, and this time i reached out and she pecked it, so i put my fingers together and tapped her back on the beak and she didn't like that! She started jumping and flapping at my hand then lifting her head higher and pecking my hand/finger! Don't think she is happy being the bottom hen anymore!

THIS is exactly why I decided to raise my own chickens for eggs so I personally would not contribute to this brutal form of farming.
anyone can have a few chickens for eggs and put the ******out of business. I can only hope.
