Just saw my neighbor chucking junk food in my yard!

We already have a rooster, but he's a pussycat. And over here, its illegal to even own a water gun / cap gun if it looks like a real gun. Even paintball guns are illegal unless you have a license & premises......................
Only good laugh is, the previous tenant to my flat apparently blew up the neighbors car on his driveway because he was such an a****** :gig & the neighbor is still fuming about it (ranting to me & a friend about it the day I moved in, I felt sorry for him at the time) because there was no legal evidence it was him :lau . There was a big hole of cracked paving & burn't fence panels on his side when I moved in.....................

You people can't shoot your neighbors so yall build bombs and them blow up instead?
What a wild & crazy place that UK is!

The good news is I'm moving in with my gran. Went to see her today & my grandfathers been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Thy told us "Its only a matter of time". He was hallucinating from the drugs today

I had to take my gran in a wheelchair downstairs in the hospital to see him because otherwise they won't let her see him!

She's coming home tomorrow & has asked that we live with her again.

She's got a big house & garden, so plenty of room for us all.

We've lived with her before when my grandad was in hospital, but he kicked us out as soon as he came home because he felt "they could manage!"

Sadly, they couldn't & I've spent 2 whole days cleaning their home & there is still stuff left

will get through the rest tomorrow.

And I'm sorry to say I may not be on BYC anymore

Unless I can get my PC in hers.

While your neighbor is certainly horrible, you cannot blame your rabbit issues on him. I used to raise rabbits, and I've had my fair share of first time mothers freak out over their kits, kill them, or not take care of them, and they were in a quiet environment. While it is probable that the noise disturbed her, it is equally as probable that she was not a good mother. Not all does are.

I'm afraid chickens being chased around by strange men is what did it. I'm pretty sure of this, its just not normal around here. Our does aren't kept in a quiet environment in general, there are always things going on around them & we have never had anything like this before because they are so well socialized. A first time doe eating her kits as she births, yes, but not this. It wasn't just the doe who was upset when we came home, all the rabbits were, the dogs went straight out & charged around the garden sniffing & whinging + the cat vanished from the garden & didn't come home for 12 hours.

Of course you may be right, she may have been a bad doe, but she was perfectly fine & doing well when we went out. She pulled fur, was cleaning each kit etc etc. Then we came home & found her in the bedding area, no kits in sight apart from the odd limb & she was hunched / propped up in a corner with her head lolling to one side. We were only gone for an hour & 15 minutes. She couldn't walk or even stand unaided. She was leaning to one side with one eye pointing up on the left side of her head & on the right side the other eye was pointing down. Also her front right leg has lost all the muscle strength in it. I had to cull her the next day. I'd seen this before & our local vet always puts them to sleep. I've bred rabbits before to, for 3 years & have just started again.

Also, strangely, the 2 other does were due around the same date, but they didn't have their kits until 4/5 days later. Also they both then gave birth within 24 hours of each other. I think the stress postponed the pregnancy because there were 7 kits in each litter & they were very big.

A post Morten revealed no pregnancy issues..... I don't know what else could have caused it.

Either way I didn't tell the neighbor because of course as you stated, it could have been something else. But I just think its a very, very slim chance.
OMG WHAT A JERK GIVE HIM AN EARFUL GET YOU PARENTS ON YOUR SIDE

What parents!?! Haven't spoken to them for months lol Left home about 5 years ago!

I would kick the guys *** personally. But that being besides the point, it shouldn't matter that you rent and he owns. The property you rent is yours not his, you pay for the right to use it as you see fit as long as the landlord agrees to it, this neighbor has no right to trespass or do anything else concerning your property. I would get the authorities involved with this person.

Unsuccessful first litters are not uncommon. And yes, the noise could have delayed the others.

My point is that if this had escalated into anything legal, this assumption would gave difficulties being proven.
