Hi all,

I am new to the forum and wanted to say hi

I have been looking on the website like crazy, my family is sick of hearing about chickens, so i decided to join! I've ordered five chicks that are arriving late may and i'm starting to get restless. My coop is just starting to go up but now is at a standstill due to the 10 inches of snow we just got here in VT

I hope it melts soon so we can keep going! Thanks for reading and to all who post i LOVE LOVE LOVE reading all the things about chickens! I'm sure I'll have more to say and ask as time goes on

You can add a signature line if you go to your profile and find where it says signature line-just type in what you want it to say.
Heres hoping that your snow lets up so you can get that coop finished. We'll be waiting for picture of those new chicks!

So Sorry about the snow! I Do believe it is April 'showers' time, not snow.

OMG I am so glad that we didnt get any snow (I guess I should stop complaining that its cool here huh) lol

We do need to warn you though that the number of chicks you think that you want now will surely grow in the next year! lol We started with 4, we now have 16 and I am getting ready to give a broody some eggs to hopefully hatch for us! lol lol
