Just wanted to say Hello!
I have been reading BYC for awhile now in fact we ordered our chickens thru this site. But I decided since the time is getting closer I would start chatting instead of just reading.
Sadly I will not be getting my first flock until july I really am having a hard time waiting and not going to the feed store but we still have to build our coop and I am starting to purchase some of the items I have done so much research on. I am getting 4 Slikies 2 white and 2 black 2 black Frizzle Cochines and 2 Easter Eggers. I have a feeling that I'm going to become a crazy chicken lady very easily and my amazing little man Kiddy (in profile pic) will be very jealous!
This has always been a dream of mine and we found the perfect home to do it in. I am a country girl living in the big city I can't wait to get closer to my roots and expand our family and teach them about it!
