I would call that guy and see if he can let me meet the dog. (But really just to find out who he is) Get his number or address. But I can't stay out of things. lol

The guy most likely will not shoot it but would take money from the person who thinks giving some to him will help. I am thinking more and more it is a con job on animal lovers. would not be the first I have heard of. Call the guy if it really bothers you that bad and see if it is for real.

Not against the law to kill an unwanted animal that was given to you when you have too many already. In some eyes it is immoral in others it is the norm.
