Just set eggs. Temp question

I just set my first batch of eggs, ever! The bator had been at 100 for a day. It has been an hour since I set them and the temp is lingering at 85. How long should I expect it to take to get back to 100? I know not to mess with the temperature. Just anxious for it to reach 100 again!

In mine it can take a few hours. I think it depends on the bator and how many eggs you placed, their temps, etc.

Give it a couple of hours.

If it's not up to temp in three hours, then I'd worry.

It's been 3 hours and it's finally up to 98. Almost there... Phew. The humidity hasn't been very stable, but doing ok. Stays around 50
