I am going to place it under an oak tree. Is it ok for them to eat or peck at acorns? Also, what should I put on the ground and in the coop? I've read sand? What kind from the beach? I live in FL that would be easy! Or pine chips? I'd love recommendations.

    Thanks! [IMG]

Sand in the run, pine shavings in the coop.

Where do I get the sand or pine?

Well, you can get pine shavings from a pet store if you don't have a feed supply store around, and sand you can pic up at any hardware store, toy box sand would work... or have a yrd or 2 delivered... depends on how big your run is going to be.
