I made some corn bread today and notice my eggs are finally fertilized... Ohhhh how I wish I had an incubator!!!!!!! Maybe by some off chance one of my hens will want to be a mamma!!!! Fingers crossed!!!

Do you really want to raise chicks now that winter is near??? Go with an incubator and a good brooder that will be heated for best results. Your chicken doing the work may produce less desirable results due to cool temps just around the corner.

Ps. If your eggs are fertile. then they will keep coming out fertile from your hen for about 3 weeks after a rooster service. The time may vary some , but you get the idea. Some roosters do want to keep their hens at the fertile stage more often.
