That's so exciting!! need to see them when they hatch. I miss when mine were babies, I might end up hatching some if I need more hens

New pics! I found a huge snapper (at least a foot long?) in the creek the other day, they won't be going back in there for a while. I haven't seen any in there before.

Yoshi has one dark brown feather with a bit of blue on her secondaries, it's very pretty but strange.

Echo's head is almost completely green now and it's really pretty

oh my god they're adorable. And I love the way they sit in your hands/arms. I don't know how youre not all torn up - a few incidental scratches from my pekins when picking them up and I looked like I'd gotten in a wrestling match with a tiger.

I honestly don't know how either haha, I have chickens too and they really scratch up my arm but the ducks don't seem to. Maybe because they're really light but their nails almost never hurt or scratch anything.

I got them from Mill Pond hatchery (http://millpondhatchery.ca/)! It was the only place around here that had Calls.

And they are!! They'll eat out of your hand and like being around people.

I do! I forgot to update this.

From a couple of weeks ago - Yoshi somehow lost almost all of one of her nails, looked like she was dying so emergency vet trip. She had to stay inside for about 5 days until she could go outside again. She was not a fan but I didn't want her to injure herself again because she was on pain meds.

And it snowed today (for the first time this year!) and the ducks love it. They were trying to eat whatever landed on the hardware cloth. She was wearing a harness just so she wouldn't fly, it was cold and I did not want to go get her.
