thought I would share... I have followed so many BYC members' builds...plus, I stole ideas from everyone's coops so maybe I am using your floor, your waterer, your tractor design,,,etc.
I got my birdies...my laying hen chicks a couple weeks ago so the build is important to get started and finished as fast as possible...but I have a 1 yr old soooo...no power tools during naps and not a lot of time....
I planned this all out and did a schematic after the fact to figure out my cuts and plan them on my wood so I wouldnt waste any...this was hard since I like to just plunge right into the project. its a major time and thought saver, so planning my cuts was well worth it:

anyway, I made my cuts and I pre drilled some holes and even started screws in them like the super handy guy who build twin breeding tractors in the chicken tractor section of the BYC coops...It really impressed my dad, he never taught me that!
here is the play by play

my lovely, helpful husband...he's cute

serves me right for going to get the lumber right before closing, didn't get a chance to inspect it and say...no I don't want painted 2x4s or the split one with the huge gash in it...anyway, I just ahd to do a bit more planning to hide the ugly.

my little son, getting all saw dusty outside, he really wanted to see what I was doing.
here you can see the beginning of my pull out drawer. I stole that fantastic idea from a stationery coop that was gray and had shingle siding in our BYC coop section. building the drawer tomorrow. I plan on adding a drop down leg for the drawer to sit on when I pull it out so I can have both hands free to remove the compostable chicken gifts.
more work tomorrow, wish I could just work on it through the night, I am so excited!
will post the drawing that is attractive and not for measurements later.
the coop will be connected to the run when it is more complete, I don"t want to have to walk all the way around the run while I am trimming out and fancy-ing up the coop.
hope you guys check back for more, I hope to have this mostly done by the weekend,
