Just starting out!

Hi, I'm new to keeping chickens and have some arriving on Sunday. Any tips on how to help them settle in?

Are you receiving hatchery chicks? Or older established birds?

If older birds be sure to show them where the food and water is located, and check on them the first couple of nights to make sure everyone is finding the roost.
If they are hatchery chicks your job will be much more involved and require some reading and the proper equipment.

Hi, they are laying birds so will make sure they get to know where everything is.
