JUST STARTING TO CROW

Hi! I hav an 18 week old rooster( Big Shot) who is learning to crow. He is an Isa Brown. Recently he has taken a break from learning. Is this normal? Afraid maybe male Guinea is bullying him. I would like to everyone's story of when your rooster started crowing! Be it funny, interesting, strange or just plain normal. I love my chickens!!!

My roosters started at around 12 weeks. Took them a couple weeks till they had it sounding good. Mine are around 18 weeks now and they are loud.

I wish mine would at least try again!

I have four roosters. Maybe the competition made them start earlier. They are down right noisey now. I will be downsizing to only 1 rooster cuz I only have 8 hens.

That's ok! My male Guinea is noisy. Maybe the rooster has too much competition from him?!
