Thank you, he is a sweetheart. I have some of his babies in the bator to test and they are all fertile! Just wish the mommas were Silkie,, but they are half.

Im not a Silkie expert but it seems to me he is maybe a buff x partrige. Its just he is a little to dark for buff but a little to light for partrige.

Do you mean Partridge color or a Partridge breed? He came from eggs that were supposed to be pure!

He looks mostly buff, it's just the extra brown strands comming from his head and back that throw me off. My buff girl doesn't look like that, it just look like he either has some dirt on him (not likely!) or he's a mix. Huh, not sure on that one. Shouldn't matter unless you are planning to breed, though. He looks really neat. What a cutie!
