I'm sorry for your loss and know what it is to lose a cat you bonded with. I've always had cats around my whole life as just background animals, some indoor, some barn cats since childhood. But I only bonded with one----the one I bought home in my lunch box from a feral litter living under the contractor's trailer at the nuclear site. I named him "stirfry" and he was black & white similar to your avatar picture.

I'm so sorry Buster passed away.

It's so hard losing your best kitty... My Muffy had to be put down several years ago and I cried for hours. The vet office made a paw print in clay and baked it... I get all choked up when I look at it and touch it. I feel for you.
